Sonata N.1 in F Major Op. 2 - First Movement: Lento con espressione
The six sonatas for cello and continuo Op. 1 by the Venetian composer Benedetto Marcello (1686-1739) were written around 1730. All sonatas are made up of four movements and follow the order of the Sonata da chiesa (slow - quick - slow - quick).
